"Don't worry, you're fine. We won't judge you on your parents or any family history. We have a saying in Mando'a, our language. I'll give you the Basic translation. 'No one cares who your parents were, only the parent you'll be'. Means that people will judge you on your actions towards others and your children, not what you parents did or said. Most will be understanding and the few that aren't will come around in time."
Birth and Early LifeEdit
Arrbi never knew his biological parents or his true homeworld. He was adopted at a very young age by a Mandalorian warrior by the name of Jol Betna. Jol never told Arrbi about the boy’s past, stating simply that he found Arrbi in the ruins of a burned town on a planet on the eastern fringe of the galaxy, though he had long forgotten which planet. Though curious, Arrbi was content and simply considered Jol his buir, or Father, and Mandalore his home.
At the age of eight, Jol began training Arrbi in the Mando way instructing the boy on the basics of blaster care and handling and the finer points of incapacitating and killing an adversary in hand to hand. As he grew older, Arrbi honed his martial skills and began accompanying Jol on missions, earning his first kill a week after his 10th birthday. On his 13th birthday, Arrbi took his Verd’goten, the Mandalorian rite of passage, and was legally declared an adult. He continued to accompany Jol on missions until for many years before finally striking out on his own at the age of 17.
Arrbi immediately sought out mercenary and bounty hunting contracts and quickly made himself a reputation for his professional attitude and coolness under fire, lessons his buir had made sure stuck with the young Mandalorian. Over the years, he used his newfound wealth to begin collecting his highly customized loadout, the most expensive piece being the Verpine shatter gun (a weapon he is loathe to part with or loan out, for highly expensive reasons).
Having sold his mercenary services to various factions throughout the galaxy, Betna eventually found his home within the Galactic Underworld. Constantly expanding his skills and slowly building a network of his own, the young Mandalorian has since worked for various employers ranging from small time crime lords to the Empire and has even pulled work from the Jedi Council on occasion.
