"I still stand, I am still a Jedi."
Appearance[]
Caleb is of medium built, not too stocky nor too lean. He is generally seen with short hair and a beard, though in his younger days he did sport shoulder length hair.
Caleb shows scars of many wars and battles, scars that make him look older than he is. He looks an aged man in his late forties while he is only in his thirties.
Personality[]
Born a commoner, Caleb Torran has with time risen far above his station. This has led to him having an unexpected blend in his persona, where he can speak with the utmost courtesy where required he can also easily switch to any street dialect of his homeworld of Coruscant.
Caleb is at his core a humble man, who enjoys a good jest. Pleasant to those who dont know him, and a reliable friend to those who do.
History, The Past[]
"It is a humble man who knows his past, and learns from it. And humility is the virtue of Kings."
Childhood[]
The Torrans were nobody. A merchant family, a family of little importance and impact. But all that did not deter the assassins from coming in and slaughtering Caleb's parents while he hid and witnessed the entire grisly scene.
And it was not just a simple murder, they took their sweet time. They played with their victims...tortured them and that was how Caleb would years later discern the identity of the assassins.
They had been Sith.
Alone and broken a young Caleb wandered the streets of callous Coruscant until hunger and desperation had driven him to the only place meant for people like him.
At ten years of age Caleb Torran slipped away into the nether realm that was the Coruscant Underground.
Scavenger[]
A shadow roamed the dark under passages, of the nether city. A shadow small and thin and starving.
It ate what it could, eating food thrown away as too stale, or too rotten. Gnawing on bone chewed up already by many animals. Killing anything it could find weak enough to take down. It's weapon of choice a small durasteel blade wrapped in layers of cloth acting as a dagger.
It was a mere shadow, a shadow of what had once been a human boy. In an age when children played and laughed, the shadow knew only death. And how to avoid it.
