-Early Life-

The Admiral never talked much about his early life. I poked and prodded a little bit, I am a reporter at heart after all, but he avoided anything too interesting. Just told me of his schooling and his peaceful household. However, when I went further and talked to his parents I found a more interesting story...

-Argent Cide, Holonet News Biographer

Aldebert Disra grew up in a time of civil unrest amongst the galaxy. The Core worlds were stricken more socially than economically, unlike the Outer Rim. Living in the Core exposed young Disra to these hardships. Shortly after he turned five, his parent divorced as his father went on another deployment with the Military. Accounts from his family suggested that he was a troubled child during his first eight years of schooling; Making sorry grades and acting up in class. He was an embrassement to his father and a constant worry to his mother. Fortunately, during the latter part of his schooling he turned his act around completely. Becoming an honors student at the public academy, he was offered scholarship at the Imperial Naval Academy.

--The Academy--

The entry age for an Academy Midshipmen was 18, the generically accepted adult age for humans. Disra's arrival, along with others in his class, was greeted with hazing from the upper classes for about a week before they were finally accepted into the fold. He made friends, close friends, and developed rivalries as well. The first two years was studying and being lead by the upper classmen. At the end of his third year in the Academy, he was accepted to tour onboard a Imperial Naval ship for the duration of the academy's "break". Once he returned, he was officially an upper classmen. He was the leading student in the fields of History and Physics which foreshadowed him graduating at the top of his class, which promised him a commission as a Jr Grade Lieutenant instead of the slightly lower rank of Ensign.
