SD-3D is an astromech droid, formerly belonging to Jedi Master Kyp Zeth Durron and one-time Sith Droid. No longer owned, the droid seeks purpose in continuation of primary duty alone.

Appearance[]

SD-3D now appears as a regular astromech droid, similarly to an R2 unit. In its first guise as a Sith Droid, it was taller and much more dangerous - fitted more with weaponry than navigation systems. In its later guise as a prostitution droid, it was fitted with holograms that shrouded it with the appearance of a female of one of a number of species.

History[]

A regular household droid built on Nubia, SD-3D took its designation after its first memory wipe as a Sith Droid, reprogrammed and refitted with the ability to run probabilistic calculations and manage risks in deterministically eliminating opponents to the Sith cause. SD-3D, the fourth SD-3 droid, stood at human height and took down a number of Jedi opponents.

Targeting bounty hunter Kyp Zeth Durron and attempting the kill, it was instead captured and modified to be used in his service, associating itself with him to hunt and capture expensive bounties. Eventually, when moving from the criminal trade to the rebel forces, Kyp paid to use the same - unique - droid mind in an astromech body, and worked for a number of years with the droid.

When the droid went missing, Kyp launched a number of Jedi Investigator missions with associates Rianna Organa and Spark Vallen, eventually tracking a same-programmed droid to the red light district of Coruscant, where the droid had been retrofitted with sexual programming. After a memory wipe, the droid was put back to regular use as an astromech until Kyp's death, after which point it was left to determine its own path.
