A Jedi Knight, Windsor Gray was for much of his early knighthood a footsoldier of the Jedi Order. Nearly crippled in the apprehension of Darth Corrigno, the Council saw fit to allow Windsor light duty in the Jedi Archives. As such, Windsor is the youngest archivist by several decades.
Windsor Freedon Gray was born to members of the extended Royal Family of Onderon. His grandfather had been of the immediate Royal Family though his lineage had him far from the throne. Without the pressure to step up as a planetary leader, Windsor was free to serve the Onderonian services. He did attend officer training courses for a time though when given the opportunity to sign on as a Lieutenant, Windsor shied away. Instead, Windsor took a shuttle to Naboo.
Windsor was a devoted student who was initially gifted with a lightsaber. Unfortunately though, Windsor was stricken by a tragedy. Soon after arriving on Naboo, a Sith Master arrived on Onderon. Darth Corrigno eliminated the entire Royal Family and established Sith rule. Windsor is the heir apparent, though no one can foresee an end to Sith dominance of the planet.
Windsor took the news far greater than many had expected the padawan to. His studies did not falter much once he resumed them and he joined the ranks of the Jedi. No particularly noteworthy missions were ever given to Windsor. He saw his action on the footnotes of Jedi campaigns. A valued Jedi nonetheless, Windsor was entrusted with especially dangerous missions. No harm came to him until he and two other Jedi apprehended Darth Corrigno at the Jedi Temple itself. Windsor Gray took a continued bolt of lightning to his left arm and was nearly killed. While physical therapy had him back on active duty within a matter of months, the scar tissue will never heal entirely. The Jedi Order has since rescinded their decision to reappoint him to active duty. Today, Windsor runs the Jedi Archives during the night.
